Thank you for this excellent and helpful article.

At the end of the article, the author refers to "legal and regulatory," a perhaps unintentional but valid distinction between the two. My contempt for "regulatory" has never been higher than it is now, and I've been around enough decades to have accurately assessed the pros and cons of "regulatory."

As for "legal," the reasons to respect applied "rule of law" are now outweighed by the reasons to resist or subvert - most unfortunately.

Therefore, it is vital that individuals obtain and use at least some minimum level of technical understanding of Bitcoin and all other tools they hope to rely on for effective "resistance" and a life of freedom. After all, as a wise person once said, "You don't own it if you can't keep it."
