doing compute at the settlement layer is a massive mistake
i know everyone likes to shit on bitcoin but the inability to do complex compute and instead optimizing for secure settlement really is a superpower. now it just needs compute built *on top of* that settlement layer.
Now that Ethereum is energy-efficient, it's time to start taxing proof-of-work mining.
